About us

I thought I would take the chance to tell you a little about myself and my company. My name is Phil and I am the owner of Drayton carpentry.

I have more than 20 years experience in the carpentry business with over a decade of this being focused on bespoke joinery.

I have a passion for creativity and keen eye for detail, which over the past 10 years has enabled me to grow Drayton Carpentry as a successful business, transforming spaces with bespoke units and storage solutions.

In my spare time I have renovated multiple previous properties, and enjoy taking surfing trips in my campervan with my wife Charlotte and dog Daisy.

The workshop is a key tool to keeping your projects produced in a timely manner and the mess and disruption to your home as minimal as possible.

Thanks to the large area available in the workshop most of the custom storage solutions (alcoves, wardrobes, offices etc) will be made and painted in this space. If requested once I have started your project in the workshop I am happy to keep you updated with progress pictures as it is made.

As an asthma sufferer myself, dust extraction is extremely important to me. I have invested in the best technology available to try and keep dust to a minimum to use in your house during the fit. Although creating some dust is unavoidable, it is kept to a minimum using this system.

About me

Phil has recently completed the most beautiful set of 4 fitted bookcases with cupboards below and a cupboard across the bay window. We are thrilled! Phil developed a design based on our basic needs and the finished effect is amazing: he has such good aesthetic sense and attention to detail. He is tidy and considerate and goes the extra mile: he offered to do our skirting boards too so that the fit with the cupboards is immaculate. Would definitely ask Phil back. And a thoroughly nice man as well as being a highly talented professional; a great experience!

We absolutely LOVE our loft room. Phil was able to see our vision and bring it to life. We wanted more storage, a dressing area and office space. So it was not an easy job or space to work with. Phil attention to detail was amazing. He was brilliant at discussing the work and space. He kept us up to date with everything. Even though we were home having Phil here was really easy. (Even though we have a dog and toddler).
